In 1995, Hideo Nomo became the first Japanese baseball player to play in the Major Leagues (for the Los Angeles Dodgers) since Masanori Murakami (1964-65).  That year, Nomo-Mania was born as he made a major impact in his 1st year.  He made the National League All-Stars and was selected as the 1995 N.L. Rookie of the Year.  Nomo also led the National League in Strikeouts (236) and Shutouts (3) in his first year.  During an 11-year career, "The Tornado" struck out 200+ batters in a season four times and pitched 2 No-Hitters (Dodgers - 1996 and Red Sox - 2001).

This is a very nice Auto / Bat Card of Hideo Nomo from the 2005 Donruss Baseball Signature Stars Auto / Bat series.  Although it is not serial numbered, it is limited to only 37 copies.
